I have received a very disheartening email this week that has really upset all of us here at American Nation. As some of you know, we unexpectedly went VIRAL at the beginning of May with our one of a kind Neon Pink MAGA hats. We sold over 3,000 units in the last 2 months. Lots of back orders, lots of restocks. Many of you are familiar with us and have been loyal customers for the last 3 years. But, most of you are new to American Nation, and that’s what upsets me the most. There is a standard here that should always be kept, and as the Owner, I have let you down.


For the last 2 months we’ve been battling with our suppliers due to them not being able to keep up with production and sending hats to our Embroidery Dept. in a timely manner. It now seems as though our supplier is just dropping the ball ONCE AGAIN. Giving us a “restock date” of Aug1-28th.

After calling their bluff (due to a language barrier) of not believing their Aug 1 date, they then back track and tell me "Aug. 28th." Which lands me at a restock date of Sept. 15th. 



Our distributor has told us that they can’t keep up with us, and they are NATIONALLY BACK ORDERED until Aug. 28th, and Embroidery Mid September. Even after telling us that 2,000 were in stock. We ordered 2,000… and woke up to an email stating the above. 


We have 500+ orders to fulfill with these hats, and sadly, some of these orders date back to MAY 10th.


I have spent the last 5 days on calls with our supplier and they seem to 1. not care. and 2. Not speak a lick of English. Which is not too odd being they’re based in California. I receive about 50 emails a day. Some are very understanding, but most are very “not so understanding” and can take a toll on me. I am the only one who runs emails, so I know I can have some slip through the cracks. I apologize!


When I started American Nation 3 years ago (formerly known as Keep America American est. 2012) I set a standard to deliver Quality merchandise for blue collar Americans to enjoy and take pride in. I know it’s your choice to support us, and there are hundreds of other options for you to choose from when it comes to patriotic merchandise.

 I am not one to play the "blame game" as we knew the lack of Control Point with these hats would most likely cause delays. So, I am taking the blame for this myself. 

I am currently working with a private distributor to track down these elusive neon pink hats. Worse case scenario: I will make these hats IN HOUSE, IN AMERICA, with AMERICAN MATERIAL and do the damn thing as we’ve always done. We are currently waiting for word back on stock that may be available from another company. I will know in the next couple of days. A September restock is non negotiable. I want these BY END OF JULY IF NOT SOONER AS WE PAID FOR. 


But on that note: I would like to extend my apologies to each and every one of you who have been patiently waiting.


I am offering FULL REFUNDS to those who want them. I am also offering STORE CREDIT to those who would like to reorder once we have these in stock, and I am also offering a replacement T Shirt at equal or lesser value. This is a moment that could make or break a business, and I hope you will continue to trust us.


To those who have ordered shirts and flags with your Hat, we will be fulfilling those items, and ship the hat once available, unless told otherwise.

I am very sorry for this shit show, and I hope we can recover you as a loyal customer and show you my standards at their full potential.


We don’t lose! We just adapt, overcome, and make the son’s a bitches ourselves!!! Which is the avenue I’m looking at taking.
